Our client reached out to us requiring a market research to help them gain insights and develop an understanding of the Pharmacy Benefits Management (PBM) industry in the US, and particularly CVS Caremark’s PBM business. The aim of this study was to understand CVS Caremark’s PBM service offerings, support capabilities, market positioning, and brand perception against the key competitors. It was decided that the correct target audience for this specific objective would be comprising of brokers, consultants, industry experts, and CVS clients. 6 Telephonic depth interviews (TDIs) were conducted in the US over a week, by the end of which, the detailed reports had been presented to the client.
